VP Ecosystem and Innovation at AT&T
Igal is in charge of the Ecosystem and Innovation (E&I) organization at AT&T whose charter is to sharpen AT&T’s focus on innovation both internally and externally, with an emphasis on speed, agility, and to work with external ecosystems such as venture capital firms, start-ups, and developers.
Igal is responsible for driving innovation at AT&T incorporating employee ideas from one of the world’s largest crowd-sourced employee innovation programs; The Innovation Pipeline (TIP). His organization is also responsible for operating the global network of AT&T Foundries where a combination of design thinking, open collaboration and agile development can bring ideas to life rapidly. He was appointed to his current position in July 2014.
Prior to this role, Igal was Director of The AT&T Foundry (Innovation Center) in Israel where he concentrated on building new technologies, products and services to solve business challenges, and actively engaged with the startup community to bring new capabilities into AT&T. Before joining AT&T, Igal worked at Interwise, holding several positions including VP ROW, UC Application Sales Manager throughout Asia Pacific, India and Israel, and Israel Country Manager. Igal has an MBA from the College of Management Academic Studies and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Management from Bar Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel
